The research behind the products.
Two research programs underpin our software. Membrane Theory is the science behind Matter Dynamics Engine (MDE) — the papers below are open access on Zenodo, each with a permanent DOI, developing a single idea: that matter, fields, and spacetime emerge from the rhythmic "breathing" of space. The Social Series is the foundation behind Social Systems Engine (SSE) — the principles for simulating how populations of people behave.
Open-access papers are released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. Author: Norbert Dinyi Agbodo.
Foundational series
Membrane Theory I–XI.
The core sequence, from the first model of space dynamics through the variational formulation and the closing work on ontology.
Consequence & topical papers
Applications of the framework.
Papers that extend the breathing framework into specific domains — quantum mechanics, atomic structure, mass, information, and the solid state.
These papers describe an in-development research framework. They are presented for explanation and are not claims of established or independently verified results.
The Social Series
The foundation behind Social Systems Engine (SSE).
A companion research program — written "SC" — to the Membrane Theory papers. Where Membrane Theory is about physics, the Social Series sets out the principles for simulating how populations of people behave: one core idea, carried up from a single person to a whole country, and applied to crisis, markets, elections, public health, evacuation, and more. These are the ideas behind Social Systems Engine (SSE) and future population-simulation layers.
The Social Principle — why people draw together and push apart, and how stable patterns of behaviour emerge.
Across Scales — the same idea from one person up to families, organisations, cities, regions, and countries.
Crisis & Collapse — how trust erodes, why confidence can fall away suddenly, and the early warning signs.
Economy & Markets — how demand, prices, runs, and bubbles emerge from people reacting to one another.
Elections & Collective Choice — how opinions, turnout, and coalitions form and shift.
Public Health & Epidemics — how an illness and the behaviour around it move through a community, and how interventions compare.
Evacuation & Hazard Response — how people move and respond when a wildfire or flood threatens.
Ecology & Non-Human Populations — the same approach applied to animals and ecosystems.
Infrastructure & Lifecycle — how assets age and how their failure ripples through a community.
The Social Series is being prepared for open-access release alongside the Membrane Theory papers. It describes an in-development research framework, presented for explanation; outputs are conditional what-if scenarios, not predictions about real individuals.

Our software turns this research into interactive simulation — Matter Dynamics Engine (MDE) for the physics and Social Systems Engine (SSE) for populations of people.
